Tube Universe: Birth, Contact and Open Extensions

Open hypotheses and exploratory artwork. Birth, joining, global closure and exterior contact remain proposals; these images do not depict demonstrated events.

Joining and birth are different questions
A gentle join requires compatible histories and a consistent combined ordering of events. Agreement about shared events alone may be insufficient if the combined causal ordering conflicts. Failed attachment and asymmetric peeling belong to the local mechanics branch; a complete mapping from tears to changes in universe histories is still missing.
Birth is proposed to require an exceptional, sufficiently energetic contact between two live tubes. Ordinary neighboring contact does not automatically create a universe. A bud stays attached to the membrane and forms within a pocket in the packed structure. Its initial conditions, low-entropy state, energy budget and connection to expanding spacetime remain open.
In the block frame, contact angle and shared contact length are candidates for describing encounter geometry without assuming inter-universe speed. They need native geometry and an event-matching rule. Descriptions such as slow joining and forceful contact do not by themselves supply the missing law.
Agreement and weight still need definitions
Similarity between histories remains a candidate for proximity and fit. It does not, by itself, provide a force. A contact graph, a way of matching records across universes and an energy or action law are still needed to connect similarity to physical geometry.
A dominant timeline is not declared more real than a fringe timeline. Drawn thickness, the number of similar histories, model population area, probability weight and physical mass must not be treated as interchangeable. Squared quantum amplitude was one candidate for weight, not an established identification.
No experiment has supplied a bound on the old agreement-driven pullback timescale. The earlier page’s claim about multi-slit tests was withdrawn because the model never linked its weight variable to a laboratory observable.
A bud that stays attached

This is a birth candidate: a small new tube remains continuous with membrane inside a pocket near contact between two neighboring live tubes. Ordinary contact is not assumed to create a universe. The required encounter, energy source, low-entropy initial conditions and relationship to an expanding spacetime are still unresolved. No universe birth is simulated in the wall-patch tests.
Before contact: the open exterior

The exterior may be ridged rather than perfectly smooth or sharply spiked. Two toruses could therefore approach at their outer folds before their packed bodies meet. Contact is possible in the concept; separation, attachment, material exchange and damage are unresolved alternatives. This larger-scale branch is not implemented by the local tests.
Global circulation, final-pair selection, the end-to-beginning connection, birth and a broader medium containing several toruses remain open branches. Outer toruses and gel-like transport are paused, not ruled out. We have not established that different toruses cannot touch.
