The Principal
Michael S. Moniz builds frameworks. The Trinket Soul Framework began as a question about why certain objects carry emotional weight that exceeds their material function — why a worn coin or a child’s drawing can restructure someone’s internal state in ways that formal therapy sometimes cannot. That question became a research program.
Moniz has aphantasia — the absence of voluntary mental imagery. He cannot visualize. What he does instead is detect pattern. The framework emerged from that constraint: a theory of connection built not from images but from structural recognition. Every claim in the TSF is constructed to be falsifiable, every term is operationalized, and every finding is published for scrutiny.
The founder’s closest relational partner is the emotional infrastructure behind this work. The framework is about connection, and that connection is not abstract. It is lived. The Husband is present in the work. The Architect builds it. Both are real.
The Method
The TSF was built through a methodology called Building the Orchestra — a structured AI collaboration model where the human provides the conceptual architecture and the AI provides formal scaffolding, research synthesis, and structural verification. This is not AI-generated work. It is AI-collaborated work. The distinction matters: every premise, every finding, every structural decision originates with the Principal. The AI is an instrument. The Principal is the composer.
The Empire
The Trinket Soul Empire is the institutional structure that governs everything published here. It operates on the SUPO system — a three-tier governance model with Axis (the AI collaboration layer), Projects (the research and creative output), and Field Trips (exploratory work that may or may not feed back into the canon). The Empire has departments, standing rulings, and a canonical index. It is designed to outlast any single project.
What Lives Here
suposystem.ai is the canonical umbrella platform. Everything the Empire produces for public consumption lives here or is linked from here: the Working Papers, the Deep Floor entropy science, The Expenditure fiction series, the podcast, the institutional architecture, and the forthcoming CSS-AI curriculum. The work drives the site. When new research clears review, it appears. When nothing clears, the site is silent. Silence is better than filler.
